Perennial Plants Garden Companion

Inspired by the practices of Horticulturists, Botanists, and gardening professionals. I've curated the most useful information for you to track so that you learn how to be the expert of your plants and garden ๐ŸŒฟ

I built this template to help you keep track of all of the longer-lived plants that you may have inherited or will be installing into your garden. This kind of tracker is SO lacking in standard plant journals as most only focus on shorter-lived, annual crops (but feel free to fill out entries for beloved tomatoes and houseplants... whatever you see fit!)

Many of the fields on the individual plant profile template are based on how Horticulturists, Botanists, and gardening professionals keep detailed record of plants. Iโ€™ve narrowed it down to the most useful fields to help you become more in tune with your plants as they mature and develop through the seasons.

ALSO: Because we all lose plant tags (I can't be the only one!), thereโ€™s a spot for you to easily plug in your plant tags for each plant as well as photos of the plant in the garden.

Additional sections that will help you better manage each plant: ๐ŸDescription/ID features ๐ŸCultural notes ๐ŸPest and Disease ๐ŸPollination notes ๐ŸEdibility/Taste ๐ŸLocation in garden ๐ŸPropagation (YES! Keep a record of the methods and when you should create more plants!)

Enjoy!
